During her undergraduate studies, Kolbie was a collegiate tennis player and participated in a Semester at Sea study abroad program, traveling to 13 countries by ship. Having lived abroad for 7 years and moved countless times as a child, Kolbie understands the challenges of parenting in a dynamic environment.

With nearly a decade of experience as a therapeutic and educational consultant, Kolbie has dedicated her career to providing family coaching and helping parents navigate challenges in their parenting journey. She assists families in finding the right schools and programs that serve as strong family foundations to support their children’s growth and success. Her clinical background includes work in marriage and individual counseling, Child Protective Services’ emergency shelter, and a state hospital setting — providing her with a deep understanding of families in all walks of life. Additionally, Kolbie has traveled nationally to tour available programming for children and teens — encompassing mental health facilities, academic boarding schools, therapeutic programs, and outdoor therapeutic programs.
Kolbie lives with her husband, Tim, and their two children, Davie and Fielding. When she’s not engaged in family coaching or supporting families through parent coaching, she enjoys baking, crafting with her kids, playing tennis, and traveling as much as possible.
